What does this mean?
It has about 100% more gold than gold plated jewelry and is much more tarnish resistant. It is made by bonding together gold and another base metal so there is gold mixed in the piece, not just an outside coating. Gold filled jewelry will not change colors or flake and is a great (and economical) alternative to solid gold jewelry.

You are fine to shower and do almost all of life’s activities in gold-filled jewelry, however we would recommend limiting exposure to saltwater, chlorine and any other harsh chemicals.
